What you will do

• Setup and operate a variety of Sliding Head Lathes to achieve production targets.
• Perform manual and automated metrology inspection checks to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and shop documentation in both metric and imperial.
• Drive enhancements to manufacturing processes through daily problem solving.
• Implement lean manufacturing standards and 5S techniques in the manufacturing cell.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery according to company policy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience setting Sliding Head lathes.
• Recognized apprenticeship in machining or a related field.
• Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in GD&T principles and diverse metrology equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex manufacturing drawings.
• Must be able to work onsite in Tewkesbury, GBR.
