What you will do

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
• Maintain key systems including dust extraction, compressed air, and electrical installations.
• Support the installation of new equipment and process layout changes.
• Investigate and implement modifications to improve safety, quality, and reliability.
• Manage contractors and ensure site inductions are completed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Formal qualification in Electromechanical engineering or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds).
• Strong experience in reactive and proactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of 3-phase equipment and machinery.
• Competence in business processes and IT systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift pattern (earlies, days, and lates).

Nice to have

• Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2382 certification.
• Experience with LOLER, PUWER, and work at height regulations.
• Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Familiarity with equipment installation projects.
