What you will do

• Design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials.
• Conduct electronics hardware level integration and testing.
• Support technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit, subsystem, and system test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.
• 2+ years of electronics hardware design and development experience.
• Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of optical system design and related technologies.
• Expertise in high-speed digital and analog circuit design (Ethernet switches, PHYs, DC/DC power, FPGAs, CPLDs).
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as USB, CAN, RS-422, RS-485, SPI, I2C, and UART.
