What you will do

• Drive the overall operational strategy for internal HPC farms across global locations.
• Operate, manage, and enhance internal compute farms and associated AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and execute a three-year compute roadmap and annual capacity growth plans.
• Collaborate directly with R&D software development teams to optimize workloads and working environments.
• Maintain, monitor, and report on system efficiency and key performance indicators.
• Ensure robust process management through documentation, change control, and incident resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical experience architecting and managing Linux-based compute farm environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in global or regional compute farms with 1,000+ servers.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating operations and strategies across multiple geographies.
• Extensive technical expertise in IBM LSF, RTM, and scripting (Python, shell, Perl).
• Proven operational experience with job submission technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software environments.
• Knowledge of LSF spanning from on-premises farms to cloud.
