What you will do

• Serve as the senior clinical voice for payers, regulators, health systems, and the broader medical community.
• Own medical quality standards across psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and patient outcomes.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure AI-enabled workflows are clinically sound and responsibly governed.
• Develop clinical protocols and care standards to facilitate trust with referral partners and payers.
• Recruit, mentor, and support a growing team of psychiatrists and clinical leaders.
• Lead high-stakes clinical conversations, including payer and partner diligence.

Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in psychiatry.
• 5+ years of clinical psychiatry experience and 2+ years in a medical leadership role.
• Proven ability to build trust with external stakeholders and support strategic partnership conversations.
• Deep understanding of telehealth, multi-state clinical operations, HIPAA, and state medical board expectations.
• High judgment regarding the responsible integration and scaling of AI in clinical care.
• Must be based in or able to work in San Francisco for regular in-person sprints.

Nice to have

• Experience in child/adolescent, addiction, consultation-liaison, or public psychiatry.
• Background in medical informatics.
