Senior FAE - Microprocessors (Embedded IoT)

Location: Must currently reside in the Eastern United States (Home based)

What you will do

• Provide premium technical support to assigned customers to drive design wins in target accounts.
• Lead proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations to secure NXP solution design-ins.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps.
• Build strategic relationships with sales teams, business lines, and partners to achieve sales objectives.
• Educate sales and distribution partners on new technologies, product features, and their business value.
• Analyze customer technical objectives using data gathering techniques to enhance sales productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development engineering or applications support of SoC-based embedded systems.
• Proven experience as a Field Application Engineer within the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of SoC hardware interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, SDIO, LP DDR4, 5, Quad/Octal SPI, USB) and ARM Cortex A and M programming models.
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux, including kernel, user-space, and uboot environments.
• Ability to read, understand, and review schematics to provide design recommendations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of graphics and video subsystems and related software drivers.
• Familiarity with Embedded Edge AI concepts, tools, and model deployment.
• Experience with custom board bring-up debug activities.
