Senior Principal Product Engineer (Semiconductor): Leading the productization of advanced datacenter connectivity and AI infrastructure products from first silicon to high-volume production with an accent on NPI execution and yield optimization. Focus on driving end-to-end product engineering, developing test methodologies for high-speed mixed-signal devices, and scaling manufacturing capacity for hyperscale customers.

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA (5 days per week)

Salary: $156,820 - $234,900 per annum

What you will do

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for advanced datacenter connectivity and AI infrastructure products from silicon bring-up to production release.
• Drive end-to-end product engineering execution across wafer sort, package test, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing ramp.
• Develop and optimize test methodologies, DFT validation strategies, and characterization plans for complex high-speed mixed-signal devices.
• Own yield analysis, correlation, and root cause investigations across wafer sort, final test, and system-level validation.
• Partner with design engineering to resolve silicon issues and accelerate product maturity.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to scale manufacturing capacity and qualify alternate sources.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience with deep expertise in product engineering and end-to-end NPI execution.
• Strong expertise in advanced process technologies (10nm and below).
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, characterization, yield optimization, and production ramp.
• Experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K and/or Teradyne UltraFlex.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-speed networking, optical connectivity, SerDes, DSP, or datacenter infrastructure products.
• Expertise in high-volume manufacturing environments supporting hyperscale customers.
• Strong analytical and automation skills leveraging data analytics to improve yield.
