What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries in SAP Promenta and ensure timely, accurate close reporting.
• Own monthly/quarterly account reconciliations with documented support independent of the GL.
• Oversee day-to-day General Ledger operations, including SAP maintenance, AOE refreshes, corporate edit checks, and ad-hoc FP&A/Production Finance reporting.
• Manage the Blackline reconciliation tool (access, account grouping, training offshore team members, and validation of BS/P&L impacts).
• Coordinate quarter-close deadlines and deliverables, including corporate data requests for internal and external reporting.
• Support balance sheet variance commentary, production tax credit filings, and process improvement initiatives (including transition to SAP S/4 via Project Keystone and Blackline Optimization).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting standards.
• 4+ years accounting experience; 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel (pivot, v-/x-lookups, Power Query), plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with global ERP systems (SAP preferred) and general ledger systems (e.g., SAP, AOE, Blackline).
• Manage one direct report (Senior Accountant).
