What you will do

• Lead the research and development of models and science products for personalized music recommendations.
• Partner with product leaders to develop science-driven business strategies and metrics.
• Develop models to identify drivers of key performance metrics and automate variance analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate the impact of new features and algorithms through experimentation.
• Educate internal teams on advanced analytics, insights, and measurement techniques.
• Analyze experimental results to provide actionable recommendations for solution optimization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and scripting languages like Python.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning and statistical modeling.
• 1+ years of experience guiding or coaching researchers.
• 1+ years of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Master's degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in a STEM field.
• Experience in a ML or data scientist role at a large technology company.
• Experience defining benchmarks for GenAI model performance.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts to stakeholders.
