What you will do

• Setup and operate CNC machines, including Okuma lathes, Shigiya cylindrical grinders, and Sunnen horizontal honers.
• Perform manual and automated metrology inspections to ensure components meet strict quality standards.
• Collaborate in daily problem-solving to drive enhancements in manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Manage a rotating AM/PM shift schedule to maintain production targets.

Requirements

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Lathes, Cylindrical Grinders, and Horizontal Honing machines.
• Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with diverse manual and automated metrology equipment.
• Capability to interpret complex manufacturing drawings.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Tewkesbury, UK.
• Must be available to work a rotating AM/PM shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience with Okuma lathes.
