What you will do

• Direct live broadcasts for Boston Celtics games, calling camera shots and managing transitions.
• Partner with the game producer to establish visual style, pacing, and graphics integration.
• Direct EVS operators on instant replays and highlight selection to reinforce game narratives.
• Coordinate with on-air talent to integrate commentary and in-game analysis.
• Serve as the on-site point person for visiting crews and truck staff during road games.
• Maintain technical standards and mentor newer crew members.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of broadcast production experience, including 3-5 years directing multi-camera live events.
• Demonstrated experience directing basketball broadcasts.
• Strong working knowledge of remote production trucks and associated workflows.
• Proven ability to lead on-site and remote crews collaboratively.
• Must be available for all scheduled games and able to travel 50-60% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background investigation.
