What you will do

• Manage day-to-day television programming operations across multiple platforms and FAST Channel/OTT opportunities.
• Partner with the VP of News to build three-screen synergy (TV, digital, mobile) around station content.
• Collaborate with NBC Sports Philadelphia to develop streaming content for related channels.
• Lead content teams to create workflows delivering content 24/7 across current and future platforms with screen-optimized storytelling.
• Identify new content types and innovative technologies to reach and serve new audiences.
• Use data and metrics to drive editorial and strategic decisions; coach and mentor teams on writing and producing for digital and social.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in content development and production.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnights as needed.
• Must be willing to work at the station in Philadelphia, PA.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous experience supervising a team of 3+.
• Media industry or broadcast environment experience.
• Bilingual (a plus).
