What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and validation of Red Hat OpenStack Platform 17.1 environments across compute, storage, and networking.
• Define Linux and OpenStack architecture standards for scalability, automation, security, and hybrid cloud integration.
• Manage OpenStack operations, including monitoring, patching, node scaling, performance tuning, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Integrate Ceilometer, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, and STF telemetry and alerting pipelines.
• Plan and test RHOSP upgrades, validate restore procedures, and review logs and recurring fault patterns.
• Develop Ansible automation, maintain Git-based repositories, document technical procedures, and lead knowledge-transfer and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Linux system architecture and administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and RHOSP.
• Experience architecting and operating private or hybrid OpenStack clouds.
• Strong expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Git, and automation workflows.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, and STF.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, plus strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with security validation, including firewall, SELinux, authentication, STIG, Red Hat Insights, or OpenSCAP controls.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Architect certification or equivalent.
• Experience with iSCSI/NFS storage and GPU integration in OpenStack.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure multi-cloud operations.
• Knowledge of Red Hat security frameworks.
