What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of RHOSP 17.1-based cloud environments.
• Define and enforce Linux and OpenStack architectural standards to ensure scalability and security.
• Manage daily OpenStack operations, including patch management, node scaling, and performance tuning.
• Develop Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, patching, and disaster recovery.
• Integrate telemetry pipelines using Ceilometer, Prometheus, and STF for advanced observability.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and validate configurations against STIG and RHOSP 17.x standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Linux system architecture and administration with RHEL and RHOSP.
• Proven expertise in architecting and operating private or hybrid OpenStack clouds.
• Strong proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Git, and automation workflows.
• Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Alert manager, Grafana, and STF.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Location: Must be based in San Jose, CA

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with iSCSI/NFS storage and GPU integration within OpenStack.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Red Hat security frameworks.
