Manager, Engineering (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity/SaaS): Managing a cross-discipline team of Frontend and Cloud engineers to develop APIs, UIs, and cloud services for Falcon Complete with an accent on architectural design and system reliability. Focus on building scalable distributed systems capable of processing trillions of events per day.

Location: Hybrid (London); must be within 30 miles of London to be considered.

What you will do

• Attract, hire, and develop a fast-growing team of engineers.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop the product strategy, technical roadmap, and execution plan.
• Champion high code quality, architectural design, and the creation of scalable, resilient systems.
• Lead with a strong focus on customer and product outcomes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation every 4 weeks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience architecting and developing software products, preferably in a SaaS model.
• 4+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ individual contributors.
• Proven track record of building scalable distributed systems in public or private cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of REST, API design patterns, and microservices.
• Experience managing fullstack teams covering both UI and backend services.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java, Golang, No-SQL databases, Apache Kafka, and Redis.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and modern CI/CD delivery models.
