What you will do

• Lead mechanical technology scouting and development to align with customer needs.
• Drive new product development through feasibility, concept, and architecture design phases.
• Provide expert mechanical engineering consultancy for hardware specifications and issue investigation.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers and internal teams to refine mass production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PM, Electrical, Optical, and Acoustic engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design and development of high-volume consumer electronics.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical leader in NPI projects.
• Proven expertise in plastic and metal parts structure development, including reliability and testing.
• Strong proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD and geometrical tolerance knowledge.
• English proficiency (oral and written) is required.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience in electro-mechanical integration and PCB mechanical design.
• Demonstrated expertise in sustainable materials and technologies.
• Experience in coaching junior engineers and managing technical crises.
