What you will do

• Direct and operate live and recorded television news productions using the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control system.
• Code and execute newscasts and build master rundown patterns for all television broadcasts.
• Shape broadcast creative appearance using video, audio, and graphics effects.
• Provide direction and timing cues to talent and other technicians during broadcasts.
• Ensure execution aligns with standard operating procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Required onsite: full-time onsite from an hirify.global designated work site in New York City.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, journalism, engineering, radio, television & film, operations, media production, related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Experience directing and operating television production systems for mid to major market news or live events.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older and covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (and join the DGA if not already a member).
