Salary: $162.8k–$223.8k/year (Director) or $188.8k–$259.7k/year (Sr. Director), plus 55% incentive

What you will do
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to underwriting teams for the Lawyers Professional Liability product line.
- Drive continued product development, strategy, and portfolio management for Lawyers Professional Liability.
- Manage account referrals from Lawyers underwriters and support negotiations with brokers on program structure, premiums, retentions, and terms.
- Oversee account auditing and compliance, including underwriting audit review outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally (Claims, Actuarial, Product Development, IT, Operations, Regulatory, and Regions) to coordinate services and deliver superior products.
- Coach and train underwriting staff based on underwriting audit results and act as a knowledge expert on industry trends and emerging risks.
Requirements
- US Work Authorization required; does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in underwriting, claims and/or brokering in Lawyers Professional Liability.
- Four-year degree in business or related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving/decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); 25% travel required.
