What you will do

• Set, operate, and adjust Mazak CNC machines (3‑axis and 4‑axis), including mill‑turn centers.
• Machine complex high-precision components from titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure tight tolerances.
• Perform first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks using CMM and precision measuring equipment.
• Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure safe and efficient production.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Wolverhampton, UK.
• Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.
• Proven experience operating Mazak CNC machines with a strong background in 3‑axis and 4‑axis machining.
• Experience with complex mill‑turn operations and machining exotic materials like titanium.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering/CNC Machining preferred.

Nice to have

• ISO/EIA programming experience for out-of-hours troubleshooting.
• Relevant manufacturing or machining certifications.
