What you will do

• Set and operate manual cylindrical machines (S20/RM250) and CNC machines (Studer S33/S31).
• Machine exotic and hardened materials to exceptionally close tolerances.
• Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.
• Set and run multiple machines and processes simultaneously.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and process improvement.
• Work a shift pattern, including nights and overtime as required.

Requirements

• Recognized engineering apprenticeship required.
• Proven experience in cylindrical grinding within the aerospace industry.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
• Ability to work shift patterns including nights.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in using relevant inspection equipment.
