What you will do

• Drive the strategy, design, and implementation of scalable build, deployment, and release management systems.
• Implement and continuously improve CI/CD solutions, leveraging generative AI and machine learning for predictive monitoring and pipeline acceleration.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-12 configuration management and DevOps engineers.
• Oversee the entire software build and release pipeline to ensure high availability and reliability across global development cycles.
• Collaborate with QA, Security, and Product Management to align release schedules with business objectives and security compliance.
• Lead architectural design for configuration management, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in software design, development, and infrastructure management.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or management roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and source code management (Perforce, Git, SVN).
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and scripting languages including Python, Perl, and Shell.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience integrating AI-powered code analysis or tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Track record of successful large-scale system migrations.
