Location: USA - Austin, TX (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week on-site from the Austin, TX office)

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure across AWS, GCP, OCI, and hirify.global managed datacenters.
• Create standardized deployment patterns and frameworks for multi-cloud service delivery.
• Monitor and maintain health, performance, and reliability using Service Level Indicators and proactive alerting.
• Provision and scale infrastructure (vertical/horizontal), and perform capacity planning and forecasting.
• Build automation tools and microservices; manage upgrades, patching, and configuration changes with minimal customer impact.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters in production, build CI/CD pipelines, and participate in global on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or OCI) and eagerness to learn the others.
• Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code using Chef, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting applications in Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Bitbucket) and ability to work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple cloud platforms and relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Engineer, OCI Architect).
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS) and experience with Kubernetes operators and Helm development.
• Experience with distributed streaming (Kafka), log management (LogScale/Humio), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• FinOps and cloud cost optimization; SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, chaos engineering).
• Experience in cybersecurity, SIEM, or security operations environments.
