Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Westminster, CO preferred). In-office collaboration expected 3–5 days per week.

Salary: $164,000–$239,800 annually.

What you will do

• Lead DevOps, cloud infrastructure, SRE, release engineering, and platform operations.
• Define long-term platform engineering strategy, balancing centralized services with embedded support.
• Modernize fragmented DevOps ecosystems to improve delivery reliability and operational resiliency.
• Architect and scale cloud and on-prem deployment platforms for commercial and sovereign environments.
• Drive automation, observability, and engineering rigor across mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support autonomous systems and real-time situational awareness.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required (due to export control/ITAR regulations).
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud operations.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams or technical organizations.
• Experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong background in AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment orchestration.
• Proven success modernizing fragmented platform engineering ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or intelligence mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with sovereign cloud, disconnected operations, or customer-managed deployments.
• Experience implementing AI-assisted DevOps or AIOps.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and modern DevSecOps practices.
