What you will do

• Produce daily newscasts, breaking news, and special projects for linear and digital platforms.
• Lead creative production and writing, including compelling teases and headline-driven storytelling.
• Partner with content producers to select, shape, and sequence relevant stories.
• Collaborate with anchors, directors, and production teams to ensure smooth newscasts.
• Integrate social and mobile content while advocating for station digital platforms.
• Coach and mentor a pool of content producers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience producing high-quality daily newscasts in a major market.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Universal City, CA.
• Strong experience with writing, producing, and desktop editing (Dalet, Adobe Premiere).
• Proficiency in newsroom production software and broadcast technology.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
