What you will do

• Lead development brainstorms for new video series and one-offs, and pitch video ideas to fill programming calendars.
• Align with editorial priorities and KPIs to create 5 social videos weekly.
• Produce and direct shoots across video platforms, including celebrity and editor-led content.
• Establish visual best practices and the look-and-feel for series and pilots with brand stakeholders.
• Develop talent with the editorial team (internal and external) and collaborate cross-functionally on editorial, events, and tentpole initiatives.
• Track video performance and re-evaluate creative in conjunction with Audience Development.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in the digital media space.
• Experience interviewing high-profile talent, including experts and celebrities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including editing formatted short-form video with graphics in Adobe Premiere.
• Knowledge of video EQ/gear and ability to film high-quality video on an iPhone.
• Strong understanding of internet culture and the digital video landscape (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), including what makes content successful on each platform.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
