What you will do

• Collect accounts that are 3+ payments past due and bring delinquency down in the assigned queue.
• Contact customers by phone for accounts that are 3+ payments past due.
• Perform skip tracing to locate delinquent customers and collateral.
• Negotiate and set up payment arrangements to cure delinquent accounts and bring them current.
• Handle high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment while meeting monthly goals.

Requirements

• Some experience in credit card collections or a related financial services role.
• Skip tracing knowledge.
• 3+ years of backend subprime collections experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal collections laws, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
• Good computer/typing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; web navigation/web-based applications.
