TL;DR

Senior Platform Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing the foundational platform for running AI agents safely and reliably with an accent on LLM application stacks, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and regulated healthcare environments. Focus on designing scalable platform components, implementing observability and policy enforcement, and ensuring system reliability for agentic systems.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (This role is not eligible for employment sponsorship).

What you will do

  • Build foundational components of the AI Platform alongside senior leadership.
  • Ship platform features including MCP servers, agent runtime patterns, identity and policy enforcement, and observability instrumentation.
  • Partner with vertical teams to onboard agents and ensure a high-quality developer experience.
  • Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
  • Operate and maintain the systems you build by participating in on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the U.S.
  • Six or more years of experience building production backend systems, with at least two at the senior level.
  • Deep experience designing and operating cloud-native, Kubernetes-based services in production.
  • Hands-on fluency with at least one mainstream LLM application stack such as LangGraph or Bedrock AgentCore.
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience creating design documents and decision records.
  • Experience with healthcare data (PHI, HIPAA) or other regulated platforms is a strong plus.
