TL;DR

Commercial Lead (Referrals): Driving the end-to-end performance of the referral growth channel with an accent on incentive design, lifecycle activation, and conversion optimization. Location: Must be based in or able to work from the DC or NYC office (Hybrid: Mon, Tue, Thu in-office).

Salary: $170,000 – $200,000

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end performance of the referral channel, including strategy, incentive design, and lifecycle activation.
  • Build and operate a behavior-triggered referral engine to replace one-off campaigns with an always-on system.
  • Partner with the Referrals Product Lead to define commercial requirements and influence the product roadmap.
  • Define and execute incentive strategies by segment to balance conversion rates against acquisition costs.
  • Develop strategies to convert the never-referrer segment into active advocates.
  • Define success metrics, own the dashboard, and report progress to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in growth, commercial, or lifecycle marketing roles.
  • Deep experience running behavior-triggered lifecycle programs using tools like Braze or Iterable.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Looker or similar BI tools and A/B experiment design.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to ship programs.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the DC or NYC office with required in-office attendance.
  • Experience in consumer fintech, cashback, or loyalty programs is strongly preferred.
