What you will do

• Design and develop software for test- and simulation frameworks in C++.
• Create and maintain Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements for TSF.
• Implement and execute unit tests and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to virtual engineering environments integrating simulations and real hardware.
• Provide 2nd level support for test support systems and simulation frameworks.
• Collaborate with software teams on architectural concepts and technology selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT/Information Systems.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Must be an EU citizen or eligible for a German work permit.
• Strong programming skills in Java and C++ with knowledge of ADA.
• Experience in software design patterns, system programming, and cross-platform development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of frameworks like Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP.
• Experience with OSGi, modeling, or code generation.
• Familiarity with networking, field busses, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of avionic protocols such as ARINC 429.
