What you will do
- Design, maintain, and extend Python-based systems, tools, and services for deep learning experiments.
- Own the infrastructure including databases, virtual machines, cloud compute resources, and scheduling systems.
- Proactively optimize infrastructure for robustness, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
- Develop custom experiment control and visualization tools via a dedicated website.
- Leverage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to automate and minimize repetitive tasks.
- Take full ownership of codebase segments and propose innovative improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in a technical field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python with an ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Knowledge of common software design and architecture patterns.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work from the Berlin office at least 60% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and maintaining deep learning infrastructure.
- DevOps experience and proficiency with major cloud providers.
- Familiarity with scientific computing packages like NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, or TensorFlow.
