What you will do

• Design, maintain, and extend Python-based systems, tools, and services for deep learning experiments.
• Own the infrastructure including databases, virtual machines, cloud compute resources, and scheduling systems.
• Proactively optimize infrastructure for robustness, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
• Develop custom experiment control and visualization tools via a dedicated website.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to automate and minimize repetitive tasks.
• Take full ownership of codebase segments and propose innovative improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with an ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Knowledge of common software design and architecture patterns.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work from the Berlin office at least 60% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and maintaining deep learning infrastructure.
• DevOps experience and proficiency with major cloud providers.
• Familiarity with scientific computing packages like NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, or TensorFlow.
