What you will do

• Design and execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and stability of networking features.
• Create complex test network topologies to simulate real-world customer environments.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify critical bugs not caught by automated unit tests.
• Collaborate with development teams in an agile environment to provide customer-centric input on specifications.
• Assist developers in creating automated test plans to complement manual exploratory efforts.
• Represent customer use-cases and deployment scenarios to engineering teams.

Requirements

• BS in CS, CE, or EE with 3+ years of experience in networking.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience testing SONiC is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of SONiC architecture, SAI, FRR, Redis-DB, and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies.
• Deep understanding of L2/L3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and VLANs.
• Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing comprehensive test plans.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, and network processors.
• Experience with IXIA or Spirent test tools.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages.
• ACE, CCIE, or JNCIE certifications.
