What you will do

• Drive end-to-end quality strategy for a high-throughput, event-driven routing service.
• Design and implement automated testing solutions for REST APIs, event streaming, and cloud persistence layers.
• Contribute production-level Java code to improve system functionality and testability.
• Build and maintain comprehensive system and integration tests for global conversation routing flows.
• Investigate complex system behaviors and resolve defects in distributed, multi-tenant environments.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines by integrating robust automated validation and feedback loops.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on quality engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience testing REST APIs through functional and automated approaches.
• Working knowledge of event-driven systems and messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and testing frameworks (TestNG or JUnit).
• Exposure to AWS cloud services such as DynamoDB, SQS, S3, or EC2.

Nice to have

• Experience with in-memory data stores like Redis.
• Familiarity with Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience validating microservices in multi-tenant and multi-region environments.
• Exposure to observability tools like Sumo Logic or New Relic.
