Principal Software Developer (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Participate in a scaled Agile development team and refine strategic requirements into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• Create manual and automated tests, including test environments, installations, upgrades, and configuration.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, scalability, and stress tests.
• Shape test automation strategy across API, UI, system, and integration layers.
• Provide technical leadership on automated testing, test architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end and backend developers, Product Management, security, support, and product teams while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–12 years of experience in software development or software testing.
• French at A1 level and English at C1 level are required; the role involves interaction with international clients.
• Experience with test automation, performance testing, databases, test tools, cloud-native technologies, and container orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, with experience in technologies such as Playwright, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python, or Lua.
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum, object-oriented design, debugging, technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Angular, React, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, Windows, Linux, and OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, role-based access control, Inmation, Aveva PI Connect, and Microsoft Fabric.
