Salary: $150,680–$225,700 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the complete validation lifecycle for PCIe/SerDes PHY in a post-silicon environment.
• Define, document, and execute comprehensive PHY validation and test plans for storage devices.
• Perform high-speed signal validation using oscilloscopes, BERT, and network analyzers to measure eye diagrams, jitter, and BER.
• Debug complex issues across physical, PCS, and protocol layers of storage interfaces.
• Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve post-silicon failures.
• Troubleshoot hardware and firmware functionality using advanced diagnostic tools and analyzers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s/PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SERDES, equalization techniques, and PCIe protocols.
• Proven experience with High-Speed IO testing, debugging, and validation.
• Hands-on lab experience in system bring-up, testing, and debug.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
• In-depth knowledge of test equipment including scopes, BERT, and network analyzers.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of PCIe and SerDes electrical characterization.
• Extensive knowledge of physical and protocol levels (PIPE I/F, PCS, MAC).
• Experience with board design, schematic design, and PCB layout for high-speed SerDes.
