What you will do

• Build and evolve cloud-based systems to manage and distribute configuration data to millions of endpoints.
• Design and implement performant solutions for complex technical problems primarily using Go.
• Collaborate with cloud, frontend, and endpoint developers to ensure seamless platform integration.
• Critique code across multiple languages including Python, TypeScript, and C++ to maintain high engineering standards.
• Analyze production outages to determine root causes and implement preventative improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development processes and improve system efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA and able to work on-site 2-3 days per week.
• 3+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Experience with Go, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying Linux containers.
• Computer science background or equivalent professional experience.
