Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States (#LI-Hybrid; office-based Tuesdays & Thursdays near offices in San Francisco, San Diego, Scottsdale, Houston, Denver, Princeton)
Salary: $88,000 - $100,000 USD

What you will do
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including analytical reviews of income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions.
- Prepare financial statements and documentation for wind projects under GAAP, supporting lender and ownership reporting requirements.
- Maintain reporting templates in financial software and provide general ledger coding for utility-scale wind projects.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, Treasury, and auditors on financial performance explanations, ad hoc requests, and audit support.
- Assist with technical accounting research, fixed asset preparation, and tax support as needed.
- Handle special projects and ensure timely, accurate financial results in coordination with internal and external teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 4 years of general accounting experience
- Knowledge of ERP accounting systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
- Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Clearway will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.)
Nice to have
- CPA and/or Master’s in accounting
- Public accounting experience
- SAP experience
- Energy industry or real estate experience
