Salary: $182,360 - $273,200 per annum

What you will do

• Define micro-architecture for SoCs, including blocks, cores, accelerators, and subsystems.
• Implement designs using high-quality RTL coding and low-power techniques.
• Develop and document detailed micro-architectural specifications.
• Collaborate with backend teams for synthesis, place and route, and timing signoff.
• Partner with verification teams on test plans, coverage closure, and simulation debug.
• Coordinate with software teams to ensure customer use case requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering or CS.
• Proficiency in System Verilog RTL coding techniques.
• Experience with SoC architectures and interfaces such as AXI, HBM, Ethernet, PCIe, and D2D.
• Background in micro-architecture for NPUs, embedded processors, DSP, graphics, or general-purpose microprocessors.
• Experience in synthesis, static-timing closure, and functional verification.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in front-end design tools and methodologies.
• Experience designing high-performance embedded processor SOC products (>1 GHz).
• Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, and UNIX shell.
