Salary: $182,360–$273,200 per annum

What you will do

• Define micro-architecture for SoCs, including cores, accelerators, and subsystems.
• Implement designs using RTL coding and low-power techniques.
• Collaborate with backend teams on synthesis, place and route, and timing signoff.
• Work with verification teams on test plans, coverage closure, and simulation debug.
• Coordinate with software teams to ensure customer use case requirements are met.
• Resolve lab issues during post-silicon bring-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.
• Fluent in System Verilog RTL coding.
• Experience with modern SoC architectures and interfaces like AXI, HBM, Ethernet, PCIe, and D2D.
• Proven track record in micro-architecture of complex custom/ASIC products.
• Proficiency in RTL design, synthesis, static-timing closure, and formal verification.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with front-end design tools and methodologies.
• Experience designing high-speed (>1 GHz) embedded processor SoCs.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and UNIX shell.
