Financial Accountant

Location: Hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania

What you will do

• Manage general ledger transactions, accruals, and prepayments for APAC legal entities.
• Execute timely month-end and year-end close activities, including intercompany recharges.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure trial balance accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to support statutory and tax processes.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners, Treasury, and Shared Services teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Support system enhancements and process improvements, including the use of Oracle Fusion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with a solid understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage complex financial tasks.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cluj-Napoca, Romania in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and transfer pricing.
