What you will do

• Design, validate, and deploy capacity models for sort, die prep, assembly, and test areas.
• Define long-range capacity strategies considering product roadmaps, demand, and factory capability.
• Develop mathematical equipment run rate models and implement total cost of ownership projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning tools with manufacturing strategies.
• Monitor toolset performance and identify risks and opportunities for strategic roadmaps.
• Analyze data to extract insights and influence factory capacity decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• Relevant experience: 2+ years for Bachelor's, 1+ year for Master's or PhD.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, flows, and factory capacity systems.
• Ability to develop parametric "Speed Models" to predict equipment performance.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Willingness to spend up to 50% of time on the manufacturing floor in a clean room environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL, JMP, or PowerBI for data mining and analysis.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Understanding of supply chain management and external supplier relations.
