QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote, must have strong overlap with Israel (Jerusalem) time zone.

hirify.global is a fast-moving team building a multi-tenant CRM and e-commerce platform.

What you will do

• Define and own the QA strategy, including test levels, coverage targets, and reporting.
• Build automation frameworks from scratch and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prioritize and automate critical financial flows including payments, ledgers, and webhooks.
• Develop reliable test data, fixtures, and sandbox environments.
• Translate manual test cases into maintainable automated suites.
• Collaborate with engineering to reduce flakes and improve overall release quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience, including framework design from zero.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Playwright or Cypress, and Python/pytest for API testing.
• Proven experience testing payment flows and high-risk financial features.
• Hebrew fluency is required for onboarding and domain context.
• Must be available for strong overlap with Israel time zone.
• Solid understanding of web applications, REST APIs, and SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience reading Django code and working with Django admin.
• Familiarity with Israeli payment acquirers or Stripe-like gateways.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems and complex back-office workflows.
• Basic knowledge of performance or security testing tools like k6 or Locust.
