Senior QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote initially, with a planned transition to a hybrid, hub-centric model in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

What you will do

• Define, design, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex product features.
• Develop positive, negative, and edge-case test scenarios and integrate them into UI and API automation frameworks.
• Maintain and improve reliable, scalable, and reusable test automation infrastructure.
• Conduct exploratory testing, reproduce and triage defects, and support resolution.
• Monitor test stability, report metrics, and help improve release velocity and production quality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders on acceptance criteria and release readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer or developer focused on testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing test plans, developing test cases, documenting outcomes, and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Python experience, including professional experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience with UI and API test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress, and with CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced or fluent English is required for daily communication and interviews.
