Senior QA Engineer – Cyber & AI

Location: Remote, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel

What you will do

• Own the automation domain across strategy, architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and system layers.
• Write hands-on automation code in Python and/or TypeScript using frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Integrate and optimize automated testing within CI/CD pipelines for reliable and fast releases.
• Test complex SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity product flows, including permissions, integrations, security-sensitive scenarios, and system behavior.
• Improve testability, observability, and debuggability while mentoring engineers and driving quality standards across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience, including ownership of frameworks or large-scale automation systems.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript programming skills with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows and test integration with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience testing distributed, cloud-based SaaS systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripting, logs, monitoring, and technical investigation of system failures.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts or security-sensitive cloud environments, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity products, detection and response systems, AI-driven development tools, agentic workflows, or MCP.
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, or distributed system architectures.
• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Neo4j, RabbitMQ, or performance and resilience testing.
• Experience improving observability, logging, and alerting in test and production-like environments.
