What you will do

• Deliver high-quality HW and RF technical support to assigned customers across the Americas.
• Lead proof-of-concept activities, solution design, and demonstrations to secure business wins.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definitions and roadmaps.
• Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements and define NXP's value proposition.
• Own the block diagram process to ensure full system requirements are understood by the technical team.
• Collaborate with sales teams, R&D, and partners to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Radio Frequencies (RF).
• Academic background in Wireless Communications, Antennas, and Microwaves.
• Hands-on experience with network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF simulation/debugging tools.
• Proficiency in C and scripting languages.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including short-notice trips.

Nice to have

• 1-2 years of experience with RF antenna design review and simulation.
• Experience with schematic and layout design for RF sections.
• Knowledge of regulatory testing such as EMVCo, NFC ISO, and/or RAIN/RFID.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles.
