What you will do

• Own production testing for custom RF and mixed-signal instruments, including test plan creation and instrument automation.
• Design and develop test fixtures and equipment for hardware acceptance tests.
• Collaborate on instrument design reviews to ensure high levels of Design for Manufacturability (DfM) and Design for Test (DfT).
• Lead bring-up, verification, and debugging of control system hardware in coordination with FPGA and firmware engineers.
• Develop automated test procedures and programs for electronics component characterization and validation.
• Partner with assembly and test houses to improve board functionality coverage and verification processes.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in RF hardware testing, validation, or integration.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Capability in Python for data acquisition, instrument control, and automation.
• Strong ability to read schematics, interpret datasheets, and analyze test data.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Boulder, CO

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with RF design concepts or software-defined radio (SDR).
• Experience with MicroTCA, PXIe, or similar pluggable instrument standards.
