Location: Must be based in Hong Kong with a hybrid work schedule (4 days in office).

What you will do

• Structure, form, launch, and maintain real estate and alternative investment funds.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund documentation including private placement memoranda and limited partnership agreements.
• Provide legal advice on fund governance, operations, distribution, and investor relations.
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel, tax advisors, and regulatory consultants.
• Advise on global regulatory developments impacting the private markets business.
• Collaborate with investment teams and legal colleagues across Americas and EMEA.

Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience in investment management, specifically in real estate or private equity fund formation.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment fund structures and cross-border offerings.
• Proven track record in forming and launching complex alternative investment funds.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to work in Mandarin or Cantonese is a distinct advantage.
• Must be based in Hong Kong.

• Experience at a national law firm or as in-house counsel at a leading asset manager.
• Experience drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements.
