What you will do

• Design and execute system-level test cases for next-generation management systems, focusing on scale and performance in strenuous environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to root-cause issues through experiments and automation tools.
• Create detailed bug reports characterizing system failures and their direct impact on customers.
• Partner with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of GUIs and APIs to enhance the overall user experience (UX).

Requirements

• BSCS/CE/EE with 3+ years of experience or an MS degree in telecommunications or computer networking.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks.
• Proficiency in 3+ networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LACP, STP, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Experience with Linux and technologies such as KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, or Hbase.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with provisioning and deployment frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• CCIE certification.
