What you will do

• Manage a third-party asset management team of 15 employees, establishing performance standards and accountability.
• Oversee all loan asset management matters including modifications, lease reviews, reserves, and financial reporting.
• Lead loss-minimizing recovery strategies such as note sales, workouts, restructures, and foreclosures.
• Collaborate with internal originators, accounting, and legal counsel to drive outcomes for Watchlist and non-performing loans.
• Manage monthly and quarterly loan valuation processes with internal and external professionals.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and standard operating procedures across the lending business line.

Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial loan asset management or underwriting experience.
• Strong expertise in construction loans, mortgage workouts, and mezzanine debt.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Century City, California.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing external and internal cross-functional groups.
