Senior Real Estate Portfolio Analyst

Salary: $100,000–$113,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Perform in-depth financial analysis of value-add commercial properties and the existing high-yield commercial mortgage loan portfolio, including bridge loans and subordinate debt.
• Monitor quarterly financials, property operating performance, and key performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage loan strategies, including travel to properties and markets to assess current and future risks and opportunities.
• Communicate investment insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and investors.
• Support borrower negotiations, loan modifications, underwriting, and strategic portfolio opportunities.
• Review and approve annual property operating budgets and build effective working relationships across the Real Estate Finance Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a similar field, or relevant equivalent experience.
• At least 2–3 years of commercial real estate and analytical experience.
• Ability to understand complex loan documents and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of analytical and market research tools such as CoStar, RCA, or Argus.
