Salary: $134,390–$201,300 per annum

What you will do

• Develop and package optical components including laser packages and fiber-arrays.
• Manage the full life-cycle of components from initial design to high-volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with assembly partners on process development and integration.
• Perform reliability assessments and qualification programs for optical assemblies.
• Design and implement test vehicles for system-level integration.
• Analyze large datasets to optimize component performance and manufacturing yields.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law
• Strong experience with fiber-optic and integrated-optics components.
• Proficiency in free-space design software such as Zemax or Code-V.
• Experience with mechanical design software like Solidworks.
• Ability to analyze large datasets using tools like JMP or DataConductor.
• Understanding of standard production processes for micro-optics.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-fiber connectors.
• Prior experience with vendor engagements for component procurement.
