What you will do

• Lead the Platform Testing team: strategy, execution, talent development, and stakeholder alignment.
• Define and deliver a testing platform roadmap that improves developer experience, reduces feedback loop latency, and lowers validation cost and complexity.
• Partner with Staff Engineers and Architects to implement testing strategies for service-oriented architecture, including service-to-service validation and environment strategy.
• Own and evolve internal QA environment strategy, including cost-effective environments supporting Delivery, Product, and Integrations partners during go-lives.
• Drive testing for complex configuration-driven behavior such as model settings and entitlements, balancing unit, integration, end-to-end, contract, and environment-based testing.
• Explore and apply LLM-powered workflows for code review, test generation/validation, and quality automation while coaching engineers on best practices.

Requirements

• Location: must be in the USA
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful exposure to testing, developer experience, infrastructure, CI/CD, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience.
• Experience building or operating delivery-support systems (CI pipelines, test infrastructure, release tooling, internal platforms, or developer productivity tooling).
• Hands-on technical judgment across reliability, cost, developer experience, and delivery speed; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and/or contract testing, integration testing, or distributed systems validation; plus experience with Python/Django, Go, Kotlin, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and cloud/container environments (AWS, Kubernetes).
