TL;DR

Infrastructure Engineer (AI): Building agentic infrastructure and internal systems to power software development with an accent on CI/CD, AI tooling, and developer experience. Focus on designing MCP servers, autonomous agents, and optimizing build/test pipelines to improve engineering velocity.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco). Minimum 3 days/week (MWF) in SF office.

Salary: $230,000 – $290,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Develop and evolve CI/CD systems, build tooling, and developer platforms to improve reliability and velocity.
• Design and implement agentic workflows, including MCP servers and autonomous AI agents.
• Optimize the end-to-end developer journey from local development to deployment and observability.
• Apply systems thinking to architecture decisions to improve developer ergonomics and feedback loops.
• Evaluate and guide the adoption of AI-powered development tools across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience building CI/CD systems and build tooling (e.g., Bazel, GitHub Actions, Buildkite).
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, MCP servers, and LLM tooling.
• Proficiency with production systems in public clouds (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes).
• Experience with modern infrastructure tooling such as ArgoCD, Istio, or Atmos.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to an internal developer platform (IDP) at scale.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration using LangGraph or LangChain.
• Background working in regulated industries or healthcare environments.
